So far, most Padres fans have only been able to listen to a few Spring Training games on the radio via ESPN 1700, The Mighty 1090, or the opposing team's broadcast on MLB.TV Audio.
On Sunday, Tom Garfinkel tweeted:
Working to get ST games not on radio to be radio broadcast live on padres.com for free @padres #Padres
— Tom Garfinkel (@TomGarfinkel) February 24, 2013
It now seems that he has been able to do so. From the official Padres twitter account yesterday:
#Padres add 12 audio webcasts to spring broadcast lineup. Games available for free on padres.com, starting 2/28 vs. @royals.

Originally, only 15 Padres Spring Training games were set on the broadcast schedule, so this almost doubles the amount of games fans will be able to listen to, which is awesome. You will need to have a padres.com account and be signed in to listen to the free audio streams for these games. The first opportunity for fans to take advantage of this will be today when our Padres take on the Royals at home. March 1-2, 7-8, 14-15, 18-19, 20 and 25-26 are the dates for the remaining free online broadcasts.
