Our Padres will try to clinch the series today as they take on the Mariners in Game 2. Tyson Ross, who was aqcuired in a trade with the Athletics during the offseason, will make his Padres debut today. He gets the starts and is scheduled to pitch two frames. Wilfredo Boscan, the PTBNL in a trade with the Rangers last Winter, will follow Ross with two innings in relief. Arturo Lopez, Johnny Barbato, Brad Boxberger, Tommy Layne, and Matt Stites round out the rest of today's pitching rotation, each scheduled to toss an inning out of the 'pen.

Blake Beavan will make the start for the Mariners. Also on the docket are highly-toted Seattle pitching prospects Taijuan Walker and Danny Hultzen.

First pitch is set for 12:05. Tune in to The Mighty 1090 for the call.
