SB Nation 2013 NL MVP Did Well At Petco Park

Andrew McCutchen wins the SB Nation NL MVP award with 94% of the vote

Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODA
Andrew McCutchen did very good this year. At Petco Park, he went 5 for 10 with 3 RBI in 3 games this year. Not really much else I need to say here. This post is mostly just a results page because there are a lot of them.

Told you. That's a bunch of different players getting some recognition with top-10 votes this year. I was kinda taken aback by Goldschmidt getting a 10th place vote. Somebody trying to pull a Gaslamp Ball here or something?

My votes went McCutchen, Goldschmidt, Kershaw, Carpenter, Votto, Molina, Pence, Choo, Freeman, and Cuddyer. And just a bit of a little story here, I almost left Votto off the ballot. Accidentally, of course. Realized it at the last second and took Bruce off my ballot and put Votto in. But, it's not like it really mattered because he wasn't close to winning or anything. I was also very close to giving Goldschmidt the 1st place vote instead of McCutchen.

It's sad that Will Venable did not get a vote. Can't say that I didn't consider giving him a Top-10 vote. After I turned in my ballot, I thought to myself that I should have out him in and Cuddyer out just because Venable is America's Finest City's Sweetheart. Wonko turned in his ballot with McCutchen, Kershaw, Goldschmidt, Simmons, Carpenter, Votto, Gomez, Lee, Molina, and Wainwright.

In the American League, Mike Trout took 90% of the first place votes to win the SB Nation AL MVP.
