DBacks finally able to beat the Padres after losing 7 in a row

Casey Kelly had a rough start tonight. Jason Kubel hit a two run homer in the first. In the bottom of the first Jesus Guzman, who I forgot was on the team, doubled to drive in two runs of his own. With Kelly still pitching the tie wouldn't last for long.

In the third Aaron Hill and Jason Kubel hit back to back homers to take a 5-2 lead. Kelly was promptly removed from the game as the Padres bullpen took over for the remainder of the game.

It wasn't long after that Logan Forsythe was spiked by Adam Eaton like a little bitch. Forsythe in his next plate appearance homered to center. Padres pitching failed to plant a baseball into Eaton's hip. Guess the Padres don't mind opposing players sliding with their spikes up.

In the 6th Denorfia hit a double that scored two runs and put the Padres back into the game, closing the gap to 7-5, but that was the last signs of life from the Padres offense.

Later on, Cameron Maybin left the game holding his hamstring. We'll see how that turns out later.

I really want the Padres to pass the Diamondbacks before the season's end. I hate the snakes.
