Bud Black says Yasmani Grandal likely headed to DL, "I don't like this one at all."

"Yeah that was a bummer guys. This is an oblique strain, obviously the severity of these varies from player to player and injury to injury, but this is the type of the injury that we've come to know doesn't heal in a day or two. So this looks like a disabled list situation for Yasi."

"It looks like he's going to be out for at least the 15 days, and hopefully this is mild enough where he can get back on the horse in 15, but keep your fingers crossed on this one. Of all the injuries that are happening in this day and age for position players, I don't like this one at all."

I didn't think this injury was going to be a big deal after Grandal's comments last night

"I don't think it's that bad," said Grandal after the Padres' 11-5 victory over the Reds. "We're going to see what happens tomorrow. But I think I'll be OK."

But Bud Black seems really worried. It sounds so ominous the way he finishes his statement. "I don't like this one at all." Dave and Jeff should have faded in some scary music to complete the effect.
