Padres get smoked by the Giants, 8-3

Yoga class was difficult at first, but came naturally to young Yonder by the second session.

Jason Marquis, the Padres 43rd option when it comes to starting pitching, did perfectly fine in his debut for the Padres. He gave up 2 earned and struck out 6 over 6, but he fell victim to the same thing that everybody falls victim to on the Padres and he lost the game anyway.

Carlos Quentin took the day off, because he hasn't been resting for like 17 weeks already, and he got tired.

Chase Headley, tried to win the game by himself going 3-5 with 2 RBI, but it was the time that the Padres loaded the bases with nobody out and then didn't score a run.

Impossible, you say?

Impossible is nothing when it comes to the Padres.

Did we learn anything else today?

  • The Giants kinda suck (but the Padres suck worse)
  • Jerry Coleman really believes that you gotta give them credit, but honestly, you kinda don't.

And that's pretty much it.
