The big boys take on Seattle again tonight at 7:10 but every good meal needs an appetizer. Starting at 56:05, the TuPads will send Kip Wells to the mound in the final game of a three game set with Vegas looking to snap a six game team losing streak. Wells's counterpart on the hill for Las Vegas will be right hander Jesse Chavez; his 6-2 record is markedly better than than Well's 1-2 mark but his ERA is actually .47 higher.
With a win, Tucson will push its record back up to the .333 mark. It's not quite as depressing to see a win percentage that dismal when it's attached to a team where development comes before winning but still. So, throw on your hat, grab a drink and get comfortable for about five four hours of two kinds of Padres.
Go Padres! Double win night! KTF!
