The nice thing about that win is Edinson Volquez pitched lights dimmed and Yonder Alonso produced the offense. Mat Latos couldn't have done that by himself. The pitching part, sure, but not the 2 RBI.
Solid pitching. Just enough offense. Defense takes advantage of Petco Park's dimensions with some flyballs. Don't turn away the charity that the Rockies provide.

In other news, I shaved my May beard after the weekend's sweep. I was prepared to go the distance with the clippers if it came to that, but a 3-2 victory means that the boys downstairs stay warm for one more spring evening.
