Padres stage epic comeback, lose lead, stage another comeback, but lose in extras to the Marlins, 9-8

Heater did not receive a very nice welcome back to San Diego, which seemed kinda mean to me. Maybe we lost because of karma.

I gotta say. As far as epic comebacks go, that third inning was pretty well as epic as you can get. And think on this... Had Anthony Bass gone ahead and just rounded third to finish what should have been his inside the park grand slam, we might've won that game in regulation. I mean... He had it.

Nevertheless, we lost, but it was pretty entertaining. I kinda wish it didn't go 12 to get to the loss, but I'm glad it didn't go 27.

In other news, Heath Bell just really doesn't have much these days, does he? I kinda wish he had just a little bit less tonight, cause we probably could've won the game.

TTG flirted with a 200 comment night, but cam up just shy at 184, which isn't such a bad number if you think about it. tonoxtono and 'tec both came in with triple digits tonight also.
