Every time our Padres make me forget the feeling of dropping two in a row, they come back down and remind me. But, I persevere and I keep the faith and, like tonight, I root for them to salvage the last game of the series. They've done that more often that not this year and in this series they have shown that they can hang with the Cards, so I'm not terrified of tonight's game and I think our Padres have a great shot of picking up a win to close out the series.

Jeff Suppan will make the start tonight. After going 2-0 to start the season, he has lost his last two starts. As he takes on his former team tonight, he will try to channel his 2006 self, who went 12-7 in the regular season and 1-1 in the playoffs to help St. Louis win a world series that year.

Lance Lynn will take the mound for the Cardinals. He was undefeated in his first six starts this season but got a loss and a no-decision in his last two.

Let's hope our Padres can avoid the sweep tonight.

GO FRIARS!! KEEP THE FAITH!!
