I think when it gets down to it, the Padres may move the fences in just for the simple fact that, if it helps our offense at all... then there's a chance we're above .500 this season. Granted, it's not like our offense picks up when we're away from home, but I'm talking about how excellent our pitching has been. I mean, they hadn't given up a walk since Thursday. Anthony Bass, who wasn't even part of the rotation to start the season pitched 5 2/3rds of a perfect game. Volquez... Wieland... All these guys are just awesome and each start seems to be one trying to out do the other.

Now if only the Padres bats were similarly competitive...
