A 13-game losing streak to the Phillies at Petco Park is officially over. Roy Halladay is no longer undefeated against San Diego. And after putting together their best performance of the season last night, our Padres look to split the series in today's finale and string together back-to-back wins for the first time this season.
Joe Blanton will try to give the Padres yet another series loss. He is coming off a loss in San Francisco, where he gave up four runs on eleven hits. Anthony Bass will pitch for our Padres after coming off a loss in Colorado. This will be his third start of the season and hopefully his first win.
Today is military opening day and our Padres will be sporting their awesome digital camo jerseys. We just HAVE to win this. For FREEDOM!
