Have you been watching FSSD? There was something I was watching where they were showing Clayton Richard work out. Dude is something of a monster in the weight room. Like I was impressed. I've been known to push a couple dumbells from here to right over there in my day, but he was gettin' all up in some crazy crossfit looking stuff. He's got muscles in places on his body where on my body, the only defining characteristic is a nipple. Or maybe a belly button. Like on him there's an eight pack and on me there's a belly button.

It's a good thing he's pitching for us today. He needs to use those muscles to help us win this rubbermatch against the Colorado Rockies. Clayton Richard isn't known to like Coors Field very much, so there's a semi-decent chance that we'll lose yet another series today, but that shouldn't stop the team from trying their very best and giving their all.

Did you know that we lead the league in walks? We also lead the league in strikeouts. You know the easiest way to lead the league in both categories? Don't ever swing the bat. That's some kinda philosophy the Padres have right now. Confused by the two batting coaches, the players have elected to just not ever swing the bat I guess.

Padres get Juan Nicasio tonight! GO TEAM GO!
