Not sure Andy Parrino is ready for full-time duty at 2B, but #Padres hope so. If he's even adequate, Orlando Hudson may be released.

OH DANG! More after the jump.
But seriously. Not surprised.
The Twitterverse is alive with rumors that the Padres may release the O-Dog, Orlando Hudson in favor of just about anybody else, but primarily Andy Parrino. Tim Sullivan has been a one man wrecking crew:
Lot of readers are down on #Padres Orlando Hudson. And teammates have noticed he's often the first guy out the door after a game.

If there's one thing I know, it's that humility goes a long way in San Diego. Sure, we love our brash athletes, but you have to be able to back it up and there's just been a perception that, for Orlando Hudson, being a Padre was just a stepping stone gig to co-hosting Intentional Talk on MLB Network.
Can Andy Parrino do the job? Well at the start of the season, Hudson projected to be the better bat, but Parrino looked to be the better defensive second baseman. At this point, if O-Dog isn't going to be any kind of bat, then we may as well upgrade defensively and take a shot on Parrino cashing in on the upside of being young and still learning the game.
