You're still here? It's over! Go home!

Colorado is coming off their first series win of the season and hopes to keep the good times rolling against San Diego tonight. They will send Jeremy Guthrie to the mound to try to accomplish that. Guthrie is coming off a rough outing, in which he gave up six runs on nine hits in just 3.1 innings. Hopefully for us, Guthrie can carry that performance over and our offense, who hasn't been terrible the last couple of games, can take advantage.
Cory Luebke will have the task of getting our Padres back in the win column. In his last start, he had a rough time in the beginning, but eventually settled down against the Diamondbacks and ended up with a no-decision.

Obviously the great thing about it being so early in the season is that, if we can win or even sweep this series, and just string together a few wins in a row, we are right back in the race. Sure, the Dodgers are having their best season start to date, but at some point they will come back down to Earth. And at some point, this Padres team will start winning games. Stay strong, Gaslamp Ballers. We're in this together.
GO FRIARS!! KEEP THE FAITH!!
