Aaron Harang and Clayton Richard will match up for the second time in six days today in our 2012 road debut at Chavez Ravine. We need a win badly, and what better way to do it than at the home of our Southern California rivals against a former Padre. Clayton looked real good for us in his start on Sunday against the Dodgers at home, giving up two runs on two hits in seven innings while striking out three and giving up no walks. Hopefully he can put up a similar performance tonight against LA. Harang hopes to bounce back from that first game, when he gave up three earned runs on seven hits in just 4.1 innings.
It'll be good for the team to get on the road and out of San Diego for a bit and gain some hitting confidence in other parks, and then bring that confidence back to Petco next week.
