Ugh. I hate cheaters. We've come to expect this sort of thing to happen to the Bay Area teams, but not to the Padres, not here in San Diego.

Padres Press Release

"We were disappointed to learn of the suspension of Yasmani Grandal for violating Major League Baseball's Joint Drug Prevention & Treatment Program. We fully support Major League Baseball's policy and its efforts to eliminate performance enhancing drugs from our game. Per the protocol outlined by Major League Baseball's collective bargaining agreement, we will not comment further on this matter."

How dare players get my hopes up by making me think that they're talented only to find out that their performance has been enhanced by drugs.

Now we have to rely on Nick Hundley for 50 games? Is that how this works? The news keeps getting worse and worse. The punishment is too severe! Maybe Hundley slipped him a mickey of testosterone so he could get another shot in the Majors. Probably not, but maybe.
