Game Thread: 6/14 Padres @ Rockies

New, 609 comments

Last night's win was what we needed to start off this road trip. Good starting pitching by Anthony Bass (gave up one run on five hits in five innings), fairly solid offense, and a stellar performance by the bullpen led us to a 3-1 victory. We hope to build on that tonight in our second game of the series at Coors Field.

Wade LeBlanc will make the start today against Colorado in place of Dustin Moseley, who dislocated his left shoulder in his last start on June 8th against the Rockies at home. LeBlanc had made one start for the Padres this season on April 24th against the Phillies, when he went for eight innings and gave up three runs on nine hits. At Coors field, he is 1-1 with a 6.17 ERA.

GO FRIARS!! KEEP THE FAITH!!
