I fell asleep at about 9:30 with the game on the radio. I woke up at about midnight and listened for a bit longer before I drifted back to sleepy town. I was at Einstein's Bagels this morning up in Solana Beach and I grabbed the sports page to find out who won the Padres game. They must have had to go to press before the game was suspended because I read the article twice and I couldn't figure out who won, it just kind of ended abruptly describing a ground out. They still had the Padres leading 2-1.
Now I see that the game was suspended and will be resumed at 5:35 today. Here's some links to bring us up to speed:
