Game Thread: 4/23, Padres vs. the inability to score

Two games against the Phillies without a run. People are always saying that pitching and defense win games, but that's not true. It's actually impossible to win a game with just pitching and defense. The Padres defense was pretty bad the first game, but their pitching has kept the homer happy Phillies to just to two runs per game. Hitting and scoring runs is actually what wins games, but you know that. Pitching and defense is the time when you go to the restroom or get food. Don't tell me it isn't true, because it totally is.
