Good news? Nay! Great News!
Not only do we get the entire radio team back, but former Major Leaguer and beloved Channel 4 host, Bob Scanlan will be in the booth doing color analysis. It's safe to assume that Jerry Coleman will have a limited role again this year and Scanlan will pick up his slack.
It's just a shame that we won't be able to see his hair and burgundy suits, we'll only be able to hear them.
"We've been missing the players' perspective and the insight to what's happening in the game," said Padres COO and team president Tom Garfinkel. "And with Bob's experience as a pitcher, he can bring that perspective to the fan."
