Open Thread, 9/7/2010: Padres vs Dodgers

Here's what I think. I think the Padres knew that people were starting to believe in them, so they challenged us with stuff that wouldn't jive with what we thought we knew. It was a philosophical challenge, and many failed, and those people will not be as rewarded at the end of the season when we Win It All.

That, or statistics and probability actually do work the way that some people (that I had previously figured were morons) think they do and the Padres are not a 95 win team.

In any case, we've now broken the streak, but I'd like to see another win before my stomach settles down after the freefall we experienced. I'm not sure if that will happen or not.

Deep breaths. Do whatever it was you did yesterday. Keep the karma.

GO PADRES!!!
