Yesterday the Padres got boned by Brewers

You know yesterday when I was driving home the score was already 5-2 Padres. I was just so f'n pleased with myself.  I was chuckling, thinking that the Padres may never lose again.

When I got home suddenly the score was tied 5-5.  LeBlanc had given up a 3 run homer.  I knew the Padres weren't done scoring and sure enough in the top of the 4th the Padres regained the lead.  With our pitching I thought for sure the game was all but over.  I started flipping channels, watching a little bit of the Jersey Shore, the previous night's Futurama, checking back in occasionally.  Each time I checked the Brewers lead kept growing and growing.

This is what happens when as a fan you become too cocky.  You let your guard down and you get boned.

Anyway, I was watching the Postgame show and Scanman says he's not worried, so neither am I.  I always trust Bob Scanlan but especially when he's wearing spectacles.  He looks so smart.

We'll get 'em today. Go Padres!
