Two big trades and nothing to show for them yet but two losses. Disappointing to say the least. Supposedly Ryan Ludwick's calf is being monitored by the Padres, so he is not in the line up today. He may be available to pinch hit. The Padres must defend against the sweep without him. They must also defend against tying their longest losing streak of the season.
I've been keeping a running tally of the Padres series wins and losses. After yesterday's loss they sit at 19-12-3.
