It's sad and all (if you care about Padres history), but Trevor's blown two saves in a row for the Brewers and it's not looking like he'll be in any position to continue his run at 600. Sure he's on the other team for this next series, but let's be honest, as soon as he's retired, he'll be a Padre again forever. So, we're kinda rooting for him to do well.
The People's Padres return home after an excrutiatingly awesome roadtrip to continue their hottness. The Brewers have played opponents hard on the road with a 5-4 early season record away from Mee-la-wau-keee, but the Padres have obviously been sick with it at home so far with their 7-2 record.
Wade LeBlanc continues his bid to remain in the Big Leagues tonight against Doug Davis aka The Monster That Owns Us. Doug Davis loves Petco (4-1, 7.1 K/9) and he loves pitching against the Padres (10-3 lifetime, 2.91 ERA).
Our best bet: Keep the game close. Even if the Brewers get ahead, stay within a save opportunity. Let Trevor come into the 9th and then introduce him with Hell's Bells followed immediately by This Used to Be My Playground. He'll be crying like a little bitch soooo hard that he won't have any stuff at all and we'll be able to tee off for a come from behind win.
This will work.
GO PADRES!!!
