I used to mow lawns professionally when I was in High School. Electric lawn mowers really sucked back then, you'd have to be careful to not run over the cord and they had no power and would get jammed on thick grass. For those reasons I used a gas mower, also because the chicks loved it when I'd rev the engine.
One time I was mowing this lawn for a lady who's Sailor husband was serving over seas. She invited me inside where she offered to make me a hamburger. I tentatively agreed. She then took raw hamburger and rolled it into a big ball and put it in a frying pan for a few minutes and then served me this ball of undercooked meat between two slices of bread. As Wayne and Garth used to say back then, I thought I was gonna "blow chunks" or "spew". I digress...
The Friar and San Diego County wants you to trade in your gas powered lawn mower for a Black & Decker 24 volt cordless mulching lawn mower (Model CMM1200). It'll cost you $100 plus your old mower, but if you buy one online it'll be between $350-400. It has a 4/5 star average in the customer reviews on Amazon, so if your gas mower sucks this might be a good deal for you.
Now that I think about it, this is barely Padres related. I don't know why I'm blogging about it, oh well, we've come all this way together, might as well post it.
