I'm going to try my hand at another rubber match Open Thread.
I am 0-2 in opening up these threads, but I feel like I have a win in me today. Sure we have our Sunday lineup. Both Hairston brothers are getting starts today, but Anthony Keith Gwynn Jr. is batting 8th. Sure it's Jon Garland and his last matchup wasn't fantastic. Sure Ubaldo Jimenez is the Rockies ace and that guy is loco with a bad motive. Sure, there's no good reason for us to win.
And yet. I sit on this horse and I try to pick up my first win for the season.
