Feeling very pessimistic about the Padres chances. All my frustration is being focused on Kouz at the moment whether he deserves it or not. When he's at the plate with men on base, sometimes I try to put myself in the shoes of the other team's fans and think if they're nervous that Kouz might drive in runs. Not once did I ever think he'd instill fear into the opposing team.
Thankfully he'll be out of the line up today.
Black says that Giles and Headley will be back in the line up today. I'd like to see what would happen if he removed both the easy outs in the lineup and give Giles and Kouz a day off on the same day.
Eckstein hasn't had a hit this series either but at least he shows up to the ballpark early, so it feels like he's trying.
The early bird might catch the worm, but he'd have a hard time beating David Eckstein to the ballpark. Whenever I arrive, he's at work.
Go Padres. Sigh.
