Seriously, Jake Peavy needs to pick his friends (and fights) a little better. According to TMZ.com, Roy Oswalt insulted Jake by referring to his Cy Young Award as a "fake", at which point they got into a fist fight after last night's game. Both were arrested handcuffed, but not taken away. No charges were pressed and it doesn't look like they'll get much more than a slap on the wrist from their respective clubs.
"Me and Oz just got a little carried away is all," said last year's National League Cy Young Award winner regarding the altercation. "When we're out hunting, we do this [stuff] all the time. A little buckshot to the [rear-end] never killed nobody, but he's called my trophy 'fake' for the last time."
I said it before and I'll say it again... Jake Peavy parties with tools.
