MLB Trade Rumors tells us that Tim Sullivan says we're passing on Bonds. My response to this is, "Yeah? And?" I've said it before and I'll say it again. The backlash from signing Bonds would be ridiculous stupid. How quickly people forget that San Diego was where Bonds got giant syringes thrown at him. Does that go away just because the guy's wearing a different jersey? I'd hope not.
Adding an asshole left fielder to a hole in left field may get rid of the hole, but it still leaves you with an ass in the field. You can use that later, when you're talking to your friends.
