- For those of you going to the game on Saturday night we are going to meet up at the Tony Gwynn statue with one out in the first half of the third inning. When the first strike is thrown you'll see a stranger opening an umbrella for no apparent reason, then a child on the grassy knoll will lift a hot dog to his mouth but be interrupted by a sneeze, that will be your cue to begin meeting other Gaslamp Ballers.
- Don't forget that it's 90's retro night tonight. The Pads will be wearing their 1997 pin striped uniforms, I'll be wearing an In Utero t-shirt and some underwears from the 90's. I love these retro nights, but I'm a little disappointed that they are going to have Liquid Blue playing the post game concert. These are the guys that wear the fake frat boy afros on 70's retro night. I wish the Padres would find a band that didn't wear afros.
- If you've already written off the Padres like Jonny Dub did back in May then you might be interested in his Chargers Blog. Jon promises he'll blog more on Boltz 4 Eva if more people comment. It's a Catch-22 of laziness, but Jon has actually been posting every few days recently. He's super fired up for the game this Sunday night too.
- We seem to have a lot of USC students and alumni so I'll go ahead and pimp my other blog A Choad's Guide to USC Football. My friends do most of the posting but it's good content. I go to all the games but don't blog as much as I should over there.
