So it begins. Every win is huge from here on out. The Padres will need all of our focus. It's been really weird, but I've been in a state of zenlike calm. To me, it honestly seems a little bit impossible that the Diamondbacks can keep up their pace. If they somehow do, I'll have to do a little bit of research into the teams with the biggest difference between their run differentials and win/loss. It'll be something to do. Also, after that great road trip, we've managed a little bit of breathing room in the Wild Card race.
Not a ridiculous amount. Just enough.
I'm going to be breathing slowly. Holding the tip of my index fingers to my thumbs while chanting, "OM", and focusing on opening and expanding myself out from the root (that's the taint to you and me).
You, on the other hand, can do whatever you want.
