So anyways, I got fired up, but I'm over it now. I'm back to being complacent. I think non-locals maybe don't realize that part of our tradition as Padres fans is to read quietly and enjoy muted conversation about the convenience of sand already being at the beach, while sipping on our yerba mates (that's ma-TAY to you transplants).
- Ducksnorts is hosting this month's Padres blogger roundtable, which jbox and I participated in. Just in case you're starting to think we never actually talk about baseball in these parts.
- Kevin Towers is not afraid to take advantage of you. We all know about KT's amazing talent when it comes to scouting relief pitching, but it's a nice refresher to think about his talent at getting other GMs to consent to getting taken advantage of sexually by KT. Seriously, I'm glad that I've never run into KT at a bar cause he could talk me into anything
- Towers is sticking with Kouzy. We've stuck with some really random crap at third for a good 8 years or so. Ain't no way I'm giving up on this one this early! You want to see me take punishment? Oh, I'll take it.
- FriarWatch has the anatomy of an at-bat featuring Kevin Kouzmanoff. I like this kind of stuff. Stuff like this should appear daily in the games section of the newspaper instead of bridge and chess positions. Have the anatomy of an AB, a poker hand and a sudoku and I'll be happy.
