Two years ago, I made a career decision. Rather than continue on the career path that I was on, I would follow another. I wanted to work in sports. I knew a career in sports would be challenging and that many attempt to break into the industry and struggle to find success, but that didn't matter. Better to live for a passion and try my hand at something than not try and wonder what might have been. To paraphrase Chuck Klosterman, I didn't want to be like so many of the people that we all meet who are perfectly content to go through the motions.
I wanted to do something cool.
Now, we all may have our passions in different things and I've met enough of you Gaslamp Ballers to know that a lot of you are following your dreams and are doing cool things, but for those of you that are passionate about sports and are considering a career change, then I encourage you to attend the SDSU Sports MBA Info Session at Petco Park.
