Baseball Hall of Famer & former San Diego Padre, Dave Winfield will be at Warwick's on Wednesday, April 4 @ 7:30pm to discuss and sign his new book, Dropping the Ball: Baseball's Troubles & How We Can & Must Solve Them.
Dex, Jon and I headed down to Warwick's Bookstore a couple years ago to listen to Malcolm Gladwell talk about Blink and it was a real good time. He even signed Dex's book. He wrote something like "I knew I liked you the moment I saw you, with love Malcolm Gladwell". Dex told him to write that and Gladwell seemed a little nervous around us. Anyway it was cool.
I'm gonna see if I can't round up a few Gaslamp Baller's and head down there. Make sure you get down there early, it's a pretty small store and not much room.
