Is this how people felt about the Padres in '98? You got a no-name team swept by a team that was obviously better than yours. Nobody pays attention, after the fact, to the solid baseball you played all season and down the stretch. Every other team in the league keeps thinking to themselves that it should've been them in the World Series. le sigh.
