Open Thread: 9/29, Padres vs. Diamondbacks

I woke up a couple times in the middle of the night and early in the morning running through scenarios for the last 3 the games.  I fluxuate between being really excited, nervous and tired.  I think it would be easier to be a player at this point, because at least you have control over what is happening.  As fans all we can do now is sit back, watch and hope.  It could be over tonight or it may take every last game.

Tonight we root for the Giants.  We hope that the thought of playing the Dodgers fires them up and they protect their home turf from a Dodger celebration.

On the other end of the spectrum, I hope Arizona rolls out there 2nd string guys and start scouting for next year without much of a fight.  Sure we want to see good baseball, but we've been in tight games far too much this year.  A few more blowouts with Padres victories would be some kinda nice.

Go Padres!
