Sorry for the late Open Thread. I just turned the game on to watch Piazza's first at bat at Shea since 1998. Standing ovation for Mike before anything even happens. They really love them some Piazza. That's awesome.
Update [2006-8-8 22:1:50 by Dex]: OK. So it wasn't since 1998, but actually since leaving the Mets were he was playing since 1998. I'm pretty sure that Vasgersian got it wrong and I just repeated what he said.
