Welcome back, Weekday Gaslamp Ballers. Hope you had a fantastic Memorial Day Weekend what with the Padres continuing their domination over the NL Central and the Rockies continuing their domination over us (at least for the time being). If you weren't around over the weekend (and you're too hung over to scroll down the page), here's what happened:
- Friar Faithful posted the Fred Norman bio. The first Gaslamp Ball entry in the Friar Faithful 100.
- Padres gave away the best giveaway ever. And yet somehow, there were people in the audience that didn't seem to appreciate (understand?) the significance. To me, it was a perfect example of providing a creative corporate sponsorship opportunity that truly registers the product in the minds of the customers.
Trust me. I'm in school learning exactly this sort of thing. Plus Mexican wrestling, Jack Black and the Padres as a combination are almost too much for me to handle. - If you want to play Simnasium, you have a credit now. Sign your team up and get your draft going.
