They've finally done it! Our bird in the front office sends us this!
The word around the office is that Magadan flat out refused to have the players watch any tape. His philosophy was that batting practice should be a steady stream of fastballs. One player even brought up the idea of hitting off of a tee, a la Tony Gwynn, but Magadan kept saying, "You want to learn from fat boy? You go enroll at state." Apparently, Bochy was really behind that philosophy and it's starting to look bad on him too.
Good riddance, I say. No word yet as to who the next batting coach will be.The UT offers verification.
