The last time I was in Vegas, I found myself in the VooDoo Lounge on top of the Rio, roped off in a VIP area while watching a go-go dancer wearing not a lot more than socks and underwears dance on a lit platform while a bunch of well dressed people danced around her and wondered why the ice bucket that was sitting on the little table next to me was glowing and who Jonny Dub and I were that a large floorman named Moose was willing to chase away the people who were just a second ago in the very same spot and allow us to sit on this leather couch all to ourselves.
It's that kind of crazy stuff that happens in Las Vegas. Which, of course, is why I'm going to watch this preseason game against the Cubs very closely. You can never be sure what will happen.
