How is it that on Monday night all of San Diego is convinced we are going to the World Series and on Tuesday afternoon most have given up? It was one loss. We don't need those types of fans. Maybe it's better to lose them now, it lets the rest of us get down to bizness!

If we were going to lose a game, game one was the most likely. Our strength is the depth of our pitching. We've still got excellent pitchers ready for the rest of the series. I'm genuinely excited for Thursday. Keep a positive attitude Padres fans. Nothing is over until we decide it is!
