Add a "K" to the back of Khalil's jersey!

There is a new Greene in town!  The Padres just signed another career backup catcher.  Todd Greene was signed to a minor league contract and will compete during spring training for the backup job behind long time backup catcher Doug Mirabelli.

"We could keep three catchers," Padres General Manager Kevin Towers said last night after Greene agreed to terms.
Scouting reports on the 5-foot-10, 210-pounder grade him above average on handling pitchers and defense, with a below-average arm. He threw out only two of 31 base stealers last season with the Rockies.

Sounds like our type of guy! Go Padres!
