Online sportsbook gets denied entry into the Hall

New, 3 comments

The Hall of Fame has rejected Barry Bonds' 700th home run ball. The ball was being offered by Sportsbook.com, an online gambling and sportsbook operation. As Jeff Idelson relates:

"The Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum will never accept artifacts from any company known to be involved with gambling," Idelson said. "We have a responsibility to preserve the game's history.
Perfectly admirable, but with gambling and sportsbooks sticking their heads into everything, I wonder how long the Hall will be able to maintain this stance.

Maybe more important to Gaslamp Ball (i.e. me)... Will the online sportsbook trifecta be completed this weekend!? Stay tuned to find out!
