From UT's Nick Canepa's article:
Gwynn on Bonds:
"He's an amazing hitter," Gwynn says. "He's been the most devastating hitter of our time."
If you replace the word "hitter" with "cheater", than yeah I agree Tony. I guess I could also agree if you put "cheating" in front of the word "hitter".
"I know there are allegations hanging on Barry's head," Gwynn says. "I don't know if he did or he didn't. I'm fortunate. I've been able to see what kind of guy he really is. He doesn't let a lot of people in.
"I like him. I'm one of the few who will publicly say that."
Haven't we been over this? Bonds admitted he put the 'roids on in the form of flaxseed oil / clear gel. He admitted it, Tony! He said he didn't know what it was (yeah, right), but he was using it. Does Tony need to watch Bonds rub it on to believe?
"All the stuff going on in the Gulf Coast, I kind of agree with Barry, too," Gwynn says. "But Congress isn't going to change. You can do both. You can take care of people in the Gulf Coast and look into steroids. I want to know what it will cost. But I think there are people out there who want to know about steroids."
Barry is using a classic diversion tactic and you fell for it hook, line and sinker. "But I think there are people out there who want to know about steroids." Obviously you aren't one of them Tony.
