Magic Number at 4, but it should've been a little lower. Weird to think that if we had won a few more games here or there we could've locked this up last week. Still, in the end, it's probably better that the team feels the pressure late into the season.
As long as it's not too late though. If we had to use Peavy or Eaton in the Dodger series, our chances in the first round would have been greatly reduced.
As it is, my original guess that we lock it up Monday still looks pretty good, though I have tickets for Tuesday and wouldn't mind terribly if they locked it up while I was there.
