Only way to tick a number off the Magic Number ticker today is through the Rockies who are still somehow mathematically in it. A win also edges us back up over .500.
Let's put the hex on. What day do the Padres clinch? At this point, I'll go ahead and guess that the Padres clinch next Monday night against the Giants. Their magic number we'll have to have dropped to 2 by Sunday. Somebody gimme a guess.
