Giles is diagnosed with a bone bruise and no fractures or ligament problems.
Giles said he will try to return to the lineup tonight.
"I don't feel the instability I felt a couple of years ago when it happened," he said. "If you have a torn MCL, it's tough to play. A bone bruise, once I get the swelling out, I think I'll be fine."
Giles plans to attend special tanning therapy to help heal his knee. While he is tanning he might just get his tips frosted too, though there is no word if the hair bleaching has any connection to his knee.
