Peavy (7-2, 2.89) is scheduled to start against Petitte (5-7, 3.15). Peavy of course has a really bad sore throat. I'd like to see him still pitch, but while wearing a surgeon's mask so as not to spread his germs. Plus it would look cool. Like Cobra Commander decided to take the hill for San Diego.
Also, if you're reading this and the game hasn't started, you still have time to vote for Trevor. Let's get Trevor in there. Especially considering that he'll be the next Padre player into the Hall of Fame.
Peavy's normally a sick pitcher, but now that he's literally sick... I shudder for the Astros.
