Brett Boone was cut by the Mariners. Now, what's our move? To be honest, I'm not sure. It's a tempting idea to pick Boone up, use him at second for the time being, move Loretta over to third when he's back and then trade everybody else for more pitching.
Of course, I don't think it'll happen. EY looks good. DJ looks good. The division looks horrible. Loretta will be back soon. I've gotta believe the Padres can tread water until then.
